Join Chef Mike and his friends from Wine Trends for a Holiday Dinner Cooking Class and Wine Tasting.  In this class we will be learning how to make classic white tablecloth style recipes. While we cook and after the class you will enjoy 5 amazing wines that will pair perfectly with this meal and for this upcoming Holiday Season. ONE PURCHASE IS FOR TWO PEOPLE!

Menu:

  • Saffron Arancini stuffed with Italian Sausage with Spicy Marinara Sauce
  • Kalitsounia, Cretan Cheese Pie with Fresh Thyme and Honey
  • Cake d'Alsace, French Style Bacon, Gruyere, and Caramelized Onion Bread with Roasted Garlic Butter
  • Citrus Salad with Pomegranates, Walnuts, Pistachios and White Wine Vinaigrette
  • Braised Short Ribs with Red Wine Demi Glacé

How a typical class at The Recipe goes

Introduction

The chef welcomes guests then talks about The Recipe's history, kitchen safety, and how the class will work.

Cooking

The chef will divide guests to work on different components of the meal. The Chef will work with each guests to provide one-on-one instruction on the tasks at hand. As the class progresses the chef will make sure everyone know's what is happening in the kitchen, questions are answered, and meal prep is on pace.

Dining

Classes end with the meal that was prepared together. The chef and the participants will do final touches and plate the meal as a buffet. Participants will plate their food, and sit and enjoy a meal together in our separate dining room.
