The term Creole describes the population of people in French colonial Louisiana which consisted of the descendants of the French and Spanish. Creole cuisine is a blend of the various cultures that found their way to Louisiana including French, Spanish, Acadian, Caribbean, West African, German and Native American, among others.  Join us to learn how to make a few classic dishes from The Bayou State.

Introduction

After welcoming each guest, our chef talks about our company’s history, covers kitchen safety, and explains how the class will work.

Cooking

Guests are divided into small groups to work on different components of the meal. Our chef provides one-on-one instruction for the tasks at hand. Throughout the class, the chef makes sure that everyone’s questions are answered and the meal prep is on pace.

Once the food is prepared, the meal is served as a buffet. Guests serve themselves and enjoy the meal together in our dining room.
